Museum Visit

Yesterday I had the opportunity to see a large and very well curated Keith Haring Exhibition. Was it in New York City? NO! Was it in Philadelphia? NO! It was located in Doylestown which is 35 miles from Philadelphia downtown, about a 75 minute drive. But you don't have to drive !!! Septa's Regional Rail has the Doylestown line whose station is about a block and half from the station. The Michener Art Museum was an unexpected surprise and I can't wait to see their future exhibitions. The building was beautiful inside and out while being quite relaxing to view art. Located at the edge of the towns Main Street it only takes a few minutes to reach cafes, restaurants, an old theater, old camera store and even one of the best record shops in the entire region. Sadly I know people who won't go see this exhibition because it's not being held in a major city. They are actually putting the location over the art.
