Manic Sunday - The Art Life

In a few months I'll begin working on "Sleepwalking" again. I prefer the cool nights of Fall when the sun begins to set a little earlier and the Summertime people begin to once again hibernate. Last year I didn't work much on this project because of finishing up my Chinatown portfolio and an obsession with taking photos of the empty subway.

Walking the streets in Chestnut Hill since 2018 I've made more cat friends than people. Rarely is there a day or night where I don't stop to pet one and just when I think I could meet any more new cats one appears from know where demanding to be petted. I even know most by name and they make my walk more enjoyable.

An art supply run to pickup a few things such as a small sketch pad, a watercolor pad , a fine black Sharpie to sign Fuji Instax photos and a silver Sharpie for some weird reason. Hopefully I'll be putting these to use soon.

This week I applied for a local art grant. Besides basic printing supplies this grant would help me with my future Fuji Instax project that I would like to begin by July 4th.

Sunday's breakfast was at Bob's Diner in the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia. Not surprisingly I was one of the youngest people in there.
