Metal - Untitled Life #6

 In those decades of living in an old industrial loft I loved steel, especially old industrial furniture with a past. Natasha and I would scour the neighborhood in search of early 20th century metal chairs, tables, lights, metal venetian blinds and artifacts. These pieces of America’s industrious past had metal name tags that read Remmington, Impala, Goodform, etc. But in the 5 years since I’ve moved to a more traditional living environment I’ve learned to embrace the warmth of wood. Still, every once in a while something appears in my daily life that reminds me of my industrial past.
