Grocery Shopping
As a child I was forced to go grocery shopping with my mother as a way to keep me out of trouble. At the time grocery stores had names like A&P, Shop N Bag, Penn Fruit and Pantry Pride. The colorful markets is were you would run into your neighbors and know the stock boys, cashiers and baggers by name. Today grocery stores are overly bright purgatories, whitewashed, with self checkouts where people people walk around leaning on their carts while staring at their phones. To make matters worse you almost need to take out a personal loan to fill your refrigerator.
