The Return

  This week we had the first 80 degree day of the year, so I ventured down to Devil's Pool. There was a lot of damage due to the large amounts of torrential rain storms we had over the Winter, and the biggest loss was the rope swing tree which was there for decades. The now uprooted tree is on its side in the middle of the Wissahickon Creek.
  The biggest surprise of the day was that only a hand full of people showed up when I was expecting a couple dozen. Looking at the long range weather forecast it's going to be a few weeks before it's warm enough for people to return.
