Frames Are So Last Decade

  I know that it's been awhile since I've posted on my blog. The reason is that I've become more of a recluse, especially an online recluse. But I've noticed something building over the last decade and it has greatly increased over the last couple of years which is photography exhibitions with bare prints on the wall. No mats, no frames just prints attached one way or the other. I more than understand the cost of mounting an exhibition with 20 - 40 framed prints and I have turned down exhibitions because of that cost which can easily reach $3000 - $5000 to mat, frame and transport. So I guess the majority of photographers today who can afford to mount a show are the very famous and the very dead.
