Logging Off

 Beginning at midnight (Friday) I will be logging off the internet, email, and blog until Saturday the 11th. My computer will be used only for editing and printing photos. I need to reboot myself, diminish my insomnia, and clear my head of all the noise, both real and virtual being generated in this digital world. 

  This short sabbatical will be simple for me. I don't now, nor never have, or never will, own a smart phone, so there's no addiction to deal with like the vast majority of the world's inhabitance. 

   My time will spent diving deeper into my photography and maybe inching closer to finishing that damn painting that's been sitting on the easel for several months now. I'll be reading the translated writings of Koda Aya. Taking walks at night. Oh, and getting ready to launch my 47th zine. This 40 page zine is about gritty photos that I took in Philadelphia's subway between 2014 and 2017.
