I've always liked alleys because of what you could find them along with their glories textures, especially at night. Even at the beginning of the 90s I would roam the alleys of Manhattan until they mostly became wall off. With the turn of the century in Philadelphia they became my Main Street and a preferred alternative to walking past endless chains, trendy restaurants and trendy people. At night the alley really comes alive.
