Little Black Books

  Today I’ll be launching a series of single edition print albums. As an artist I always liked the idea of offering a unique item where only one exists. In the world of photography, especially today that rarely happens. The albums of this series will be printed in either of two sizes, 4x6” and 5x7. The albums are the old fashioned snap shot variety that you would have found in photo labs, FotoMat, etc. The albums themselves can have surface scuffs or small creases which only add to its charm. Each album contains 24 prints made by me on my Epson printer using Epson’s Ultra Premium Glossy paper. I wanted to keep the covers as simple as possible with the front cover consisting of just the title and signed on the inside. The rear cover has a very brief description and is numbered at the bottom.

  The first album of the series features 24 5x7” black and white photos taken in Philadelphia’s subway. The photos in this album can be rearranged and also removed and framed.
