Gentrification

 Recently I found a framed painting in the garbage. It’s been a while since I’ve worked on canvas or on the series “Through My Mind Darkly” so I decided to reuse them. Gentrification keeps coming up and those who still live in my old neighborhood keep reminding me of this culture and uniqueness destroying trend by the hyper-normals. This was going to be my subject.
