Self Promotion In 2023

  I hate what self promotion has turned into in the age of social media. It has all the allure of a used car salesman; the hype, the lies, the over-importance. So Natasha and I came up with a small idea to promote in IKEA with no worries about “likes” and “comments”and building up fake numbers. We took over a small room and set up on a table using several zines, prints, artwork and business cards. Several days later it’s still there ! Does IKEA appreciate artists….I hope so.
